Ms. Hong Liu is a State of California Licensed Acupuncturist as well as a Traditional Chinese Medical Practitioner with 23 years of clinical experience . Ms. Hong Liu graduated in 1986 from the Chengdu University of Chinese Traditional Medicine in Chengdu, province of Sichuan, China. She has worked as a staff doctor in the First People’s Hospital in Chengdu, China for more than ten years. During this time, Ms. Hong Liu had the opportunity to understudy with the Director of the Acupuncture Department - Master Bing-Pu Liao, one of only four renowned masters originally recognized by the National Medical Department of China as a Master Acupuncturist in 1956. Ms. Hong Liu also worked as a staff member in the Acupuncture & Acupuncture-Anesthesia Research Institute of City Medical Department (established by government) of Chengdu, China from 1986-1988, gaining invaluable experience. Hong Liu also worked as a Clinical Instructor for the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chengdu Athletic College Sports Injury Division from 1991 to 1996. She has continued to practice as a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in California, refining and adjusting her treatment methodologies to suit the Western lifestyle needs.
